Continuation Of Hardware Installation Process
May 07, 2025
Manual installation of hardware under insulation protection conditions often encounters many problems, such as wire slippage, hardware virtual connection and other consequences, which will affect the contact resistance and cause great changes. The influence of human operation and the difference in professional level of staff also make the reliability of hardware installation questionable, and the importance of automatic installation tools is self-evident. For example, the double-bolt tightening structure of some hardware is difficult to achieve synchronous tightening of two torque nuts during manual installation, and the contact effect cannot be guaranteed. This problem can be solved by designing a synchronous dual output mechanism. The structural requirements of large torque and small wheelbase (the distance between the two torque nuts of the hardware is small) can complete the synchronous installation of the hardware, avoiding the drastic fluctuation of the contact resistance value caused by the influence of environmental external forces due to unreliable installation of the hardware.
In addition, smoothing the contact surface of the hardware, plating or applying conductive glue can expand the area where the current flows through the contact surface, thereby reducing the contact resistance between the hardware and the wire after installation.
