ADSS Suspension Clamp 700M
The Preformed Suspension Clamp is the connecting hardware of ADSS cable hang in transmission line pole (tower). It can reduce static stress at the support point and increase ant-vibration ability of ADSS cables, and cushioned against the dynamic stress of aeolian vibration as well as ensure that the cable bending will not exceed the permissible values, make the cable does not produce bending stress, so that the fiber optic don’t produce extra loss in the cables.

Span Classification & Clamp Selection Guidelines
Short Spans (< 50m): (e.g., substation entries, adjacent to dead-ends)
Focus: High suspension angles (steep inclines/declines), small sag.
Clamp Type: Short-body suspension clamps or specially designed clamps to ensure minimum bending radius is maintained at the clamp exit. May require anti-corona features.
Standard Spans (50m - 400m):
Focus: Typical conditions in standard climatic zones.
Clamp Type: Standard suspension clamps (e.g., cradle-type) without pre-formed armor rods are usually sufficient, provided calculated tensions (EDS%, UTS%) are within acceptable limits.
Medium Spans (400m - 800m):
Focus: Increased tension, larger sag, higher vibration risk.
Clamp Type:
Enhanced strength suspension clamps.
Suspension clamps WITH pre-formed armor rods become common.
Purpose of Armor Rods: Distribute grip pressure (protecting cable sheath), increase grip strength, improve vibration damping, add fatigue protection.
Long Spans (> 800m): (e.g., river/canyon/highway crossings)
Focus: Very high tension, large sag requiring excellent flexibility, critical vibration control.
Clamp Type:
Suspension clamps WITH pre-formed armor rods are ESSENTIAL.
High-strength, high-capacity clamps.

Vibration dampers (e.g., Stockbridge dampers) are almost always required.
