Process of Preformed Guy Grip

1. The aluminum or steel wire is cut into an ideal length with the help of a cutting machine. It is then performed into the helical shape.

2. 3 or 5 aluminum or short steel wire pieces are bundled or packed together using a cable tie. After that, the bundled wire is dipped in glue. The wire glue is left to dry up, then the cable’s tire is cut off. All the wires are then dipped in glue again.

3. Spray sanding is done within the helical wire. Sanding is needed to enhance the strength of its grips.

4. Finally, the middle part of the wires is made to stand and bent into two legs.

Installation Method

1. The first step is to install the thimble clevis and insert one leg of the preformed guy grip.

2. The second step is to make the two legs of the guy grip dead end parallel with the cable. Make a color label on the cable and The guy grip color mark fit the label on the cable to grab the legs of the guy grip.

3. The final step is to continue to grab the guy grip dead end to ensure the cable is fully wrapped by the preformed grip.
